DAY 1

Arrival of your international flight. Met by our representative and transferred to a hotel.  Dependent on time of arrival you can opt to do a short Kampala day tour that will see you visit the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi Tombs, the Bahai Temple and a shopping trip at the Buganda road crafts market

Check-in and overnight stay on BB at Cassia Lodge.

DAY 2

Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

06h30: After breakfast, depart to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi Town. Stop in Masindi Town for Lunch then proceed to the Murchison falls also locally known as the Kabalega Falls.

Arrive and check-in.

Dinner and overnight at the selected/available lodge or tented camp.

DAY 3

Murchison Falls National Park

06h30: At sunset you will go for a half day game drive in the national park after having an early breakfast. Some of the wildlife you are likely to spot are elephants, Lions, Rothschild Giraffe, waterbucks and a variety of Savannah woodland birds among others. An amazing spectacle of nature!

DAY 4

Murchison Falls National Park – Fort Portal

06h30: After breakfast, depart for Fort Portal where the Semliki and Kibale Forest National Parks are situated.

DAY 5

Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

06h30: Breakfast at the lodge, depart for Kibale Forest National Park

Famed for the diverse number of primates at the Park. A guide will be on hand to take you around for a nature walk around the Park as you track the chimpanzees. After lunch you will be taken to the crater lake region to view some of the crater lakes in Uganda after which you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Par.

DAY 6

Queen Elizabeth National Park

06h00: Breakfast at the lodge,  after which you depart for a morning game drive of Queen Elizabeth National Park

Some of the wildlife you are likely to spot is big herds of elephants, buffalos, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, waterbuck, bushbuck, giant forest hogs, and leopards among others. An amazing spectacle of nature!

Your safari guide will take you to the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George for an opportunity to view hippos, crocodiles and different species of birds in their natural habitat.

Queen Elizabeth National Park offers an absolutely unique variety of animals.

DAY 7

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

06h30: After breakfast, we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park a well recognized habitat for mountain Gorillas.

Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge.

DAY 8

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

06h30: Breakfast at the lodge;

07h30: Start Gorilla trekking; the trek takes you through the huge Bwindi Forest as you search for mountain gorillas to observe their behavior in their natural habitat. Trekking normally takes half a day or longer depending on your designated tour guide and the site of the gorillas. After successfully tracking the gorillas you will send an hour with the great apes, after which you shall return to find your driver and depart for Lake Bunyonyi.

DAY 9

Lake Bunyonyi

06h30: Have breakfast at the lodge prior to kicking off the day’s expedition. Lake Bunyonyi includes a wide array which range from birding tours, nature walk, cycling or canoeing on the lake itself.  Lake Bunyonyi offers an ideal opportunity for relaxation after 10 days of non-stop travel and exploration. This is an opportunity to recollect memories at the previous day’s mountain gorilla tracking activities.

DAY 10

Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park

06h00: Early morning breakfast in preparation for a four hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park.

A game drive through Lake Mburo National Park. Animals you expect to see include elephants, zebras, elands, buffaloes, antelopes etc.

DAY 11

Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala – Jinja

06h00: Early morning breakfast at the lodge will be served then depart for Kampala en-route to Jinja.

Stopover in Masaka for a photo opportunity at the equator.

DAY 12

Jinja

Attractions in Jinja include a trip to the source of the River Nile, rafting on the River Nile, bungee jumping, Quad bike safaris along the banks of the River Nile. A motorcycle commonly known as by boda boda trip can be arranged for a quick tour of Jinja town which will ideally take less than an hour.

DAY 13

Jinja – Kampala – Entebbe

06h00: Travel to Kampala en-route to Entebbe International Airport for your home bound flight. Depending on the time of flight, a Luncheon for “meat lovers” will be organized at either the Carnivore restaurant in Kampala of Gaucho Grill along Entebbe road.
