DAY 1

Arrival of your international flight. Met by our representative and transferred to a hotel.
Check-in and overnight stay on BB at the hotel.

DAY 2

Kampala – Budongo Forest

06h30: After breakfast, depart for Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary enroute to Budongo Forest

Your safari guide will take you around for a Rhino trekking adventure at the sanctuary with the opportunity to watch the endangered rhinos in their natural habitat.

Have lunch and later proceed to Budongo Forest

Arrive and check-in.
Dinner and overnight at the selected/available lodge or tented camp.

DAY 3

Budongo Forest

06h30: Early morning breakfast at the lodge

Depart the lodge for Budongo Forest at the Royal Mile where you will spend the entire day birding. Speceis your most likely to see during this Budongo Forest birding tour include; Nahan's Francolin, White-spotted Flufftail, African Crowned Eagle, Sabine's Spinetail, Cassin's Spinetail, Blue-breasted Kingfisher, Chocolate-backed Kingfisher, Dwarf Kingfisher, Blue-throated Roller, Piping Hornbill, White-thighed Hornbill, Hairy-breasted, Barbet, Brown-eared Woodpecker, Yellow-spotted Barbet and Yellow-billed Barbet.

Dinner and overnight at the selected/available lodge or tented camp.

DAY 4

Murchison Falls National Park

06h30: Breakfast is served at the lodge then depart for an early morning game drive of Murchison falls National Park.

Animals you expect to see during the early morning game drive include; Lions, Elephants, Jackson Hartebeest, Waterbucks, Rothschild Giraffe,  and a variety of Savannah woodland birds.

After lunch, at 14h00, launch of the Nile boat cruise to view aqua game at close proximity. This is a unique encounter with a bunch of hippos and crocodiles at close proximity among other animals.
Birds you expect to see during the boat cruise include; goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

DAY 5

Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest National Park

06h30: Early morning breakfast then depart for a morning game drive through the Murchison Falls National Park prior to setting off for Kibale Forest National Park whilst enjoying the panoramic view of the Albertine Rift Valley.

DAY 6

Kibale Forest National Park

06h30: After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale Forest National Park has a superlative diversity and highest massing of primates in East Africa. You will have a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest where you expect to see the Hot springs, black white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others.

Spend the entire afternoon birding in the Kibale National Park forest where you expect to see bird species like;  Green-breasted Pitta, Afep Pigeon, White-naped Pigeon, Crowned Eagle, Red-chested Owlet, Black Bee-eater, Western Nicator, Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Little Greenbul, Brown-chested Alethe, Blue-breasted Kingfisher, African Pitta, African Grey Parrot, Scaly-breasted Illadopsis ,Brown Illadopsis, Black-capped Apalis, Blue-headed Sunbird, Collared Apalis, Dusky Crimsonwing, Purple-breasted Sunbird, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Yellow Spotted Nicator, Little Green Bul and the Black-eared Ground Thrush.

DAY 7

Kibale Forest National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

06h30: Breakfast is served at the lodge. Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Arrive in time for your lunch then afterwards head for an afternoon game drive of the park. Animals you expect to see during the game drive include; elephants, buffaloes, Nile crocodile, Uganda kobs and tree climbing lions.

DAY 8

Queen Elizabeth National Park

06h30: Early breakfast at your lodge then set off for an early morning game drive

You will have an opportunity to view the unique landscape and be able to view the crater lakes in the Kasenyi area and the Albertine Rift Valley.

Return to the lodge for lunch and there after head out for  a two hour boat ride of the Kazinga channel from where you will see a diverse array of wildlife like the hippos at the shores, birds and reptiles.

DAY 9

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

06h30: After breakfast, head out for chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura gorge. Spend an hour with the chimpanzees and later have Lunch.

 15h30: We depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park a well recognized habitant for mountain Gorillas.

DAY 10

Bwindi Forest National Park

06h30: Have an early morning breakfast and head out to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to spend the entire day birding. Bwindi Forest boasts of a variety of bird species and offer a perfect birding experience for any keen birder. Bird species in Bwindi Forest National Park include; African Wood Owl, Handsome Francolin, Rwenzori Nightjar, Bar-tailed Trogon, Black Bee-eater, Western Green Tinkerbird, Dwarf Honey guide, Fine-banded Woodpecker, Handsome Francolin, African Green Broadbill, Grey Cuckoo-shrike, Shelly's Greenbul, Yellow-streaked Greenbul, Red-throated Alethe, Archer's Robin-Chat, White-bellied Robin-Chat, Kivu Ground-Thrush, Mountain Yellow Warbler, Grauer's Rush Warbler, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Short tailed Warbler, Black-faced Rufous Warbler, Grauer's Warbler, Chestnut-throated Apalis, Collared Apalis and Mountain Masked Apalis

DAY 11

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

06h30: Breakfast at the lodge;

07h30: Start Gorilla trekking; the trek takes you through the huge Bwindi Forest National Park as you search for mountain gorillas to observe their behavior in their natural habitat. Trekking normally takes half a day or longer depending on your designated tour guide. Retire back to the lodge or visit the local community on the way back to the lodge.

The rest of the day spent at leisure to enjoy the various activities on offer.

DAY 12

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park– Kampala – Entebbe- Departure

06h00: Breakfast and return to Kampala enroute to Entebbe International Airport for your home bound flight.

Stop over at Equator for a photo opportunity and shopping of souvenirs.
