KABALEGA WILDERNESS LODGE
Inspired by the breath-taking splendor of the wild landscapes of Murchison Falls NPK and the history and culture of the Bunyoro region of Uganda, Kabalega Wilderness Lodge will amaze you with its allure and its unique location adjacent to one of the biggest natural reserves in Uganda. It comprises of individual Safari Cabins spread throughout 7 acres of bristling bushes on the banks of the streaming waters of the mighty River Nile.
All the lodge structures are made from an architectural balance of mud and wood, and the roof is thatched with handpicked grass from the rolling plains of the neighboring villages. The walls are plastered African style with mud and wattle with a contemporary twist. The lodge is tastefully decorated with rustic safari furnishings and fixtures handcrafted from carefully selected local and natural materials. The cabins and dinning all feature an open design to offer you a feeling of oneness with nature and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the magnificent and wild surroundings ensuring that your unique Safari experience continues even when at the lodge.
Kabalega Wilderness Lodge is the ideal launch point from which to experience the splendor of its wild landscape and the surrounding community. The lodge provides en suite private cabins immersed in the wild shrubbery of Mubaku village on the shores of the might River Nile.
The Lodge offers two cabin designs that are adoptable to appeal to every type traveler namely;
Deluxe Safari Cabins
Are designed by the surrounding bush and are delightfully made to provide you with a spectacular view of the African sunset and River Nile. The cabins are furnished with either a double or two single beds, and a mix of furniture and style. They have their own private balcony where guests can relax comfortable chairs.
Single Safari Cabin
The Cabin is designed to give guests little paradise. It is fitted with a private balcony with comfortable lounge so that the guest enjoys uninterrupted view of the tropical sun rays bouncing off the sparkling surface of the mighty River Nile.
Bush Dining
At Kabalega Wilderness Lodge guests can have dinner at the edge of the escarpment with the magnificent view of the mighty Nile. The menu features international and African cuisines are served from a blend of traditional using the best ingredients.
